Data Scientist - AI & Analytics

About the role

SABIS, a global education network present in 21 countries, is looking for a Data Scientist in Adma, Lebanon. The Data Scientist develops and implements AI technologies to solve educational challenges, using data analytics and machine learning to support research initiatives, analyze complex data sets and communicate findings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI models and solutions into SABIS products, keeping them scalable, reliable and maintainable
• Monitor deployed AI models, identify areas for improvement and fine-tune them as needed
• Import, clean, transform, validate and analyze complex data sets to generate insights and answer business questions
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and deliver data-driven solutions
• Stay up to date with AI advances and apply them to new and improved solutions
• Carry out other related tasks as delegated by management

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or an equivalent
• Fluent English and Arabic
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field
• Professional behavior, ethics, accountability, attention to detail and strong communication and teamwork skills
• Meets local employment requirements, including reference and criminal background checks
