Cybersecurity Product Development Manager

About the role

The Product Development Manager designs, develops and commercializes innovative cybersecurity solutions using emerging technologies such as AI, automation and quantum technologies. The role combines product development, solution engineering, business enablement and sales and marketing support, driving product adoption through go-to-market activities, customer engagements and solution positioning. It also leads, coaches and mentors the presales team and supports strategic vendor partnerships and certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Research emerging technologies and develop, enhance and market cybersecurity products, solutions and managed services aligned with market trends such as AI.
• Design PoCs, prototypes, demos, integrations and automation workflows; assess commercial feasibility, security impact and business value; document architectures and implementation guidelines.
• Manage the solution lifecycle from development to launch, work with Sales and Business Development on positioning and go-to-market strategy, and drive adoption and revenue growth.
• Carry out quotas and sales targets on new products, follow up on lead and opportunity conversion, and support technical presentations, demos and proposals.
• Lead and coach the presales team, ensure proposal and demo quality, and align customer requirements with business objectives.
• Support vendor partnerships, certifications and technology alliances, track vendor roadmaps and emerging technologies.
• Monitor cybersecurity trends and threats, identify innovation opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering, cybersecurity engineering, solution architecture, presales engineering or related technical roles.
• Experience supporting sales cycles and converting technical solutions into business opportunities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and innovation skills, with excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies and security operations environments.
• Developing cybersecurity solutions, integrations, APIs, automation workflows and cloud-based applications.
• Strong understanding of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions highly preferred.
• Experience with vendors such as Microsoft, CrowdStrike, UiPath or similar is a strong advantage.
