Contracts Engineer – EPC Projects (Beirut, Lebanon)

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will oversee the full lifecycle of EPC contracts for projects based in Beirut. You will ensure that all contractual obligations are met while supporting the project teams in achieving operational and financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, review, and manage contracts from inception to close‑out, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Assist in negotiations with clients, subcontractors and vendors, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Handle variations, claims and change orders, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation and approvals.
• Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance and project teams to align contract terms with business objectives.
• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure contracts adhere to local and international EPC standards.
• Prepare regular performance, risk and compliance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of contract administration experience in EPC, construction or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, EPC/EPCM and subcontractor agreements.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with contract management software.
• Advanced use of the MS Office Suite.
