Construction Project Manager (On-site, Nigeria)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects in Nigeria from the pre‑construction phase through execution and handover. The role combines strong leadership with technical coordination across architectural, structural, civil and MEP disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects end‑to‑end, from planning and design review to final handover.
• Lead on‑site execution, develop schedules and coordinate contractors.
• Review drawings, specifications and shop drawings for constructability and compliance.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical and site issues.
• Monitor progress, resources and timelines to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, snagging and close‑out activities.
• Support cost control, variation management and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare progress reports and lead coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of construction experience in project management or senior site roles.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large‑scale projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and suppliers.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
