Construction Manager – Marine & Port Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead high‑stakes marine and port infrastructure projects in Brazzaville. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle of quay walls, breakwaters, dredging, and specialized terminal facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Direct end‑to‑end management of port and marine infrastructure projects, from planning through handover.
• Provide technical oversight for marine structures such as quay walls, jetties, revetments, and floating pontoon systems.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and consultants to maintain seamless site operations.
• Implement project controls, including scheduling with Primavera P6, budget tracking, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime standards (PIANC, FIDIC) and strict HSE regulations.
• Coordinate procurement, logistics, and technical submittals to support fast‑track construction schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s or PMP® certification is a strong advantage.
• 12+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years focused on marine and port infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in marine heavy civil works such as piling, breakwaters, dredging, and coastal protection.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing large, multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling.
• Competence with AutoCAD for design and documentation.
• Experience using MS Project for project planning and control.
