Compensation & Benefits Manager

About the role

La Sagesse University is looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead the design and administration of the university’s reward programs. Reporting to the HR Director, the role will ensure that compensation, benefits and payroll processes are fair, competitive and fully compliant with Lebanese regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain salary structures, grading systems and job evaluation frameworks; conduct market benchmarking and lead salary review cycles.
• Manage the end‑to‑end monthly payroll for academic and administrative staff, validating attendance, overtime, allowances and deductions while safeguarding confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with Lebanese Labour Law, NSSF, tax regulations and university policies; coordinate payroll reconciliation with Finance.
• Prepare compensation reports, payroll analytics and dashboards for senior leadership; monitor salary trends, budget utilization and workforce costs.
• Support HR digitalisation initiatives by leveraging HRIS and data‑analytics tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in compensation, benefits administration and payroll execution.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese Labour Law, NSSF regulations and payroll best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities with a high level of integrity.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
