Bioanalysis Sample Custodian

About the role

The Bioanalysis Sample Custodian will manage biological samples from bioavailability and bioequivalence studies at the Byblos campus, reporting to the Bioanalytical Laboratory Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Operate deep freezers, refrigerators and monitoring systems, documenting receipt, transfer and condition of samples.
• Handle biological matrices, analytical columns, working and reference standards, and assist with equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Maintain filing and organization of work materials, stay updated on industry trends, and prepare data reports as requested.
• Provide backup support for office staff and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in regulated sample management.
• Meticulous documentation habits and hands‑on experience with chain‑of‑custody and freezer (‑20°C/‑80°C) operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on operational efficiency and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Watson LIMS (preferred).
