About the role
The Banking Analyst is responsible for daily bank reconciliations across assigned regions, ensuring accurate recording of all bank transactions and supporting cash reporting. This role acts as a key control over cash, investigating outstanding items and providing reconciliation metrics to management.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, upload, and reconcile daily bank statements for assigned accounts.
- Prepare and submit daily cash and bank reports within agreed timelines.
- Reconcile receipts, payments, intercompany transfers, and bank transactions.
- Investigate, track, and escalate unmatched or unusual transactions.
- Prepare month‑end bank reconciliations and maintain audit evidence.
Required profile
- Degree in accounting or finance, or part‑qualified with ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- 2‑4 years experience in bank reconciliation, cash management or treasury operations.
- Experience across several banks and currencies.
Required skills
- Bank reconciliation mechanics and reconciling item types.
- Bank portals and statement formats.
- Oracle EBS R12 Cash Management (or comparable ERP).
- Advanced Excel.
