Auditor for CBM Lebanon Project (P10719)

About the role

Christian Blind Mission (CBM) seeks an experienced auditor to conduct a comprehensive financial audit of the Nusaned‑implemented project “Inclusive Support for Vulnerable Communities in Akkar”. The audit will cover multiple reporting periods and culminate in a final audit report and management letter.

Key responsibilities

• Perform annual audits for 2024 (Dec 1 – Dec 31) and 2025, and a partial audit for Jan – Aug 2026.
• Execute a final audit covering the entire project duration (Dec 2024 – Aug 2026).
• Assess the accuracy of funds received and payments made by Nusaned.
• Prepare an Audit Report and a Management Letter in accordance with IFAC standards.
• Provide written proof of auditor qualifications (certificate from a recognized accounting body or German Embassy).

Required profile

• Member of a national or international accounting/auditing body, preferably IFAC‑affiliated.
• Relevant university degree or professional qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in public audit practice, including managerial experience leading audit teams.
• Demonstrated experience with IFAC standards and development‑cooperation projects funded by donors.
