Audit Manager (External Audit Expert)

About the role

The Audit Manager will join Compex Group’s Beirut office to lead the audit, accounting and tax functions for a portfolio of clients across the UAE, KSA, Lebanon and Iraq. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role is full‑time and on‑site, requiring a seasoned external audit professional.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution and review of external audit engagements in line with UK auditing standards.
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team covering audit, accounting and tax services.
• Coordinate with the CEO and senior stakeholders to align audit strategies with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the regions served.
• Prepare and present audit reports, financial statements and tax filings for clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external audit, preferably within a UK‑standard environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor audit teams.
• Strong understanding of regional market dynamics (UAE, KSA, Lebanon, Iraq).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
