Associate Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Kickstart your cybersecurity career as an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer. You will work on securing endpoints, managing devices, and protecting identities for customers across the MEA region, gaining hands‑on experience with Microsoft security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with deployment and configuration of Microsoft Defender solutions (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity).
• Support Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) setups.
• Contribute to design and rollout of Entra Conditional Access policies.
• Integrate Microsoft Cloud App Security for visibility and governance.
• Manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in security solution deployments under senior engineer guidance, validate configurations, run tests, and document results.
• Deliver client‑facing training sessions and configuration walkthroughs.
• Help create technical documentation, configuration notes, and basic user/admin guides.
• Engage in structured learning, shadow senior engineers, and pursue relevant Microsoft certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience or relevant internships/academic projects.
• Basic understanding of networking, endpoints, and cloud security concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services is a plus.
• Optional certifications such as Microsoft SC‑900 are advantageous.
