About the role
The Assistant, Country HR & Admin provides generalist HR and administrative support to the country office, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day HR operations and compliance with local regulations. The role involves both office duties and field travel to support HR activities across projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with day‑to‑day HR operations, including recruitment, orientation, employee separation and payroll preparation.
- Provide administrative support such as visa follow‑up, facilities liaison, document scanning, and procurement of office supplies.
- Travel to field offices to support HR assignments and ensure timely collection of performance reviews and statutory documentation.
- Maintain accurate personnel files, staff contact lists, and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
Required profile
- Diploma in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one year of HR support experience; familiarity with International Medical Corps is a plus.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, stressful environment.
