Art Director

About the role

The Art Director will lead the visual direction of advertising campaigns, translating client briefs into compelling creative concepts. This role requires strategic thinking, hands‑on design execution, and close collaboration with copywriters, marketers, and senior leadership to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present fresh, strategic, and creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and project kick‑offs.
• Lead the artistic vision for advertising campaigns from concept through execution, maintaining creative excellence.
• Create and present mood boards, visual concepts, and advertising strategies to clients and internal teams.
• Engage with clients to understand their vision, propose solutions, and ensure campaign consistency.
• Collaborate with copywriters, marketing teams, and strategists to develop integrated campaigns.
• Ensure consistency in messaging, visual language, and storytelling across all formats.
• Oversee final creative approvals, performing quality control before delivery.
• Communicate regularly with the Associate Creative Director and leadership to align on strategy.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative techniques into campaign development.
• Contribute to pitches and new business development with strong creative narratives.
• Resolve communication barriers and project conflicts to maintain creative quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art & Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in art direction, preferably within advertising or marketing.
• Proven ability to lead creative teams and manage end‑to‑end campaign development.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of brand consistency, visual storytelling, and audience targeting.
