A&P Mechanic – MD530F – OCONUS (Lebanon)

About the role

The position is a full‑time A&P Mechanic role supporting MD530F helicopters stationed at Hamat Air Base, Lebanon. The assignment follows a 90/30 rotation schedule (90 days on‑site, 30 days R&R) and requires restoring aircraft to airworthy status in accordance with OEM and FAA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on MD530F airframes and Rolls‑Royce M250‑C30 powerplants.
• Maintain airworthiness by complying with OEM technical data, FAA Part 43 regulations, and internal work standards.
• Document all maintenance actions in logbooks and ensure proper parts inventory management.
• Coordinate ordering, shipping, receiving, and warranty claims for parts and tools.
• Assist in planning and executing aircraft maintenance schedules and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of rotary‑wing maintenance experience in civil or military environments.
• Aviation mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.
• Experience returning aircraft to service under FAA Part 43 using OEM logbooks or equivalent software.
• Active NACI and ability to obtain a CAC.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or military schooling is a plus.
