Accountant

About the role

CCIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, Lebanon, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. You will work in a structured, fast‑paced environment, collaborating with experienced professionals while taking ownership of a broad range of accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate accounting records for accuracy and completeness in line with standards and company procedures.
• Support month‑end closing, ensuring all entries, inventory valuations, reconciliations and gross‑margin reviews are completed on time.
• Perform intercompany, bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and maintain proper documentation.
• Check invoices, supporting documents and ledger entries, and suggest process improvements.
• Monitor VAT, social security contributions, withholding tax and other statutory filings to ensure compliance.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting documentation according to internal controls.
• Identify and resolve accounting errors or process weaknesses in coordination with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams and other departments to guarantee timely and accurate data entry.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with diverse colleagues.
• Fluency in Arabic, English and French.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data handling).
• Familiarity with accounting ERP systems (experience with any ERP is a plus).
