Workplace Health and Safety Specialist Intern – Summer 2027

About the role

Join Amazon as a Workplace Health and Safety Specialist Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of Amazon's Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices while working on safety‑related projects in a Network Distribution Center.

Key responsibilities

• Implement safety improvements and identify compliance issues at the assigned site.
• Recognize opportunities for safety enhancements and support a safe workplace culture.
• Collaborate with safety leaders, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare and present a safety research paper to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree program (e.g., occupational health, safety engineering, related field).
• Eligible to work in the country without employer sponsorship.
• Willing and able to work 100% onsite for a 10‑week, full‑time (40 hrs/week) internship.
• Flexibility to relocate to the assigned distribution center.
