Taxation & Declaration Associate Specialist

About the role

The Taxation & Declaration Associate Specialist will support the Accounting Department by ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting. You will prepare monthly tax calculations, file declarations, and assist with audits while staying up‑to‑date on Lebanese tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly tax declarations to the relevant authorities.
• Calculate and validate VAT and other applicable taxes.
• Compile Excel schedules and supporting documentation for tax filings.
• Perform reconciliations between accounting records, tax reports, and submitted declarations.
• Identify tax implications in accounting transactions and address discrepancies.
• Manage non‑resident tax matters and ensure correct tax treatment.
• Respond to internal and external tax‑related inquiries.
• Participate in tax audits, inspections, and information requests.
• Maintain organized tax records and stay informed of legislative changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• Experience in taxation, accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and taxation laws in Lebanon.
• Understanding of accounting principles and their impact on tax reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict filing deadlines.
