Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across the organization. This role supports operational efficiency and regulatory compliance by conducting thorough audits and providing actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing the annual internal audit plan.
• Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits across departments and sites.
• Execute audit procedures and testing in line with internal audit standards.
• Prepare audit reports that include findings and actionable recommendations.
• Participate in audit closing meetings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Analyze data to identify risks, prevent fraud, and strengthen internal controls.
• Support continuous improvement by evaluating business processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in internal auditing.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
