Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager – Risk Consulting (FSRM)

About the role

As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager within EY’s Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice, you will deliver risk‑management services to capital‑market participants such as banks, pension funds, investment companies and insurers. The position blends technical risk‑analytics delivery with work‑stream leadership and client relationship development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead work‑streams on Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 risk, credit analysis, investment analysis and risk reporting engagements.
• Maintain communication with delivery team leaders, provide progress updates and ensure quality standards are met.
• Build and nurture relationships with external clients and internal peers.
• Prepare and present high‑quality project findings and presentations.
• Support junior team members in adhering to EY’s Quality & Risk Management guidelines and foster their development into high performers.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a drive to excel professionally.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Educational background from a top institution in quantitative finance, economics, actuarial science or a related field.
• Up to 5 years of experience in consulting or banking, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects in fast‑paced environments.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders and a willingness to contribute to business development.
• Professional certifications such as FRM and/or CFA are a plus.
