Security Guard – Campus Safety (Byblos)

About the role

The Protection Office seeks a Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment on the Byblos campus. Reporting to the Protection Manager, the guard will enforce access control, respond to emergencies, and protect people and property.

Key responsibilities

• Verify identities of individuals entering the campus and coordinate visitor and supplier access.
• Assist in maintaining discipline during major campus events such as exams, registrations, and commencements.
• Organize parking areas, monitor vehicle and merchandise entry, and ensure proper permissions are obtained.
• Respond to suspicious or unsafe behavior and report incidents to the Protection Office.
• Guard designated buildings when assigned and support emergency evacuations according to established protocols.
• Foster a welcoming and secure atmosphere for all campus members.

Required profile

• Baccalaureate II Diploma, Technical Diploma with ≥5 years security experience, or Brevet with ≥8 years experience.
• Basic knowledge of English and computer skills.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
