Security Agent – Hotel Safety Officer

About the role

The Security Agent is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for guests, staff, and assets within a hotel in Beirut. This role involves proactive patrolling, monitoring access points, and responding swiftly to any security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and patrol hotel premises regularly, including guest floors, lobby, and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems, report suspicious behavior, and investigate incidents.
• Communicate with law enforcement, fire services, and emergency medical personnel as needed.
• Control and log key usage, ensuring proper key management at all times.
• Respond to alarms, fire/smoke alerts, and verify that fire safety equipment is operational.
• Apprehend trespassers, assist guest relations, and support other hotel departments (e.g., restaurant, valet) when required.
• Maintain clear fire exits and corridors, and assist VIP arrivals or emergencies.

Required profile

• Reliable and punctual, wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
• Ability to work independently and follow hotel policies and procedures.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to report hazards immediately and adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating and monitoring CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of basic fire safety equipment and emergency response protocols.
• Effective communication with internal teams and external authorities.
