Marketing Specialist

About the role

As a Marketing Specialist at Derq, you will turn ideas into campaigns and plans into action. You will work across events, content, social media, digital marketing, and sales enablement to connect with the right audiences and bring the company’s story to life.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate Derq's participation in conferences, trade shows, and industry events, handling registrations, timelines, vendors, contracts, collateral, speaking opportunities, presentations, booth materials, giveaways, sponsorships, catering, and other logistics.
• Manage event calendars, key deadlines, invoices, payment schedules, and budget tracking to ensure all event deliverables are completed on time.
• Collaborate with the sales team on event and marketing planning, including annual planning, registrations, sales support, timelines, meetings, materials, and giveaways.
• Oversee booth design, production, and readiness, especially during the 1‑2 months leading up to major events.
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and communications in partnership with the Head of Marketing, developing content and assets for web, sales collateral, email, social media, presentations, and other channels.
• Create high‑quality, audience‑focused content and sales enablement materials such as customer stories and case studies; strong B2B copywriting required, B2G copywriting a plus.
• Assist the Head of Marketing in managing and growing Derq’s social media presence, including content planning, copywriting, publishing, community management, and trend monitoring.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, organized, creative and execution‑oriented professional able to take projects from concept to completion.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams, testing new ideas and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
• Strong B2B copywriting experience with the ability to develop content end‑to‑end.
