M&A Executive / Assistant Manager – EY Parthenon

About the role

EY Parthenon is seeking an experienced M&A Executive/Assistant Manager to join its Beirut team. You will work closely with senior managers and partners to evaluate strategic fit, model financial outcomes, and drive transaction execution for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, and negotiations.
• Prepare client reports, fundraising documentation, and acquisition/disposal materials.
• Manage transaction timelines, ensure high‑quality deliverables, and coordinate with counterparties and advisors.
• Identify and mitigate key risks, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with junior team members, share knowledge, and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field from a reputable university.
• 3‑4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or professional services with exposure to both buy‑side and sell‑side transactions.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with sound judgement and creative problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
