Logistics Supervisor – Senegal

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor will be based in Senegal and will oversee the transportation, distribution and delivery of goods for Twellium Industrial Company Limited. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures efficient routing, compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and cost‑effective fleet operations to support manufacturing and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute logistics plans aligned with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, customer service and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material flow.
• Manage workshop workflow to avoid delays and guarantee timely deliveries.
• Monitor GPS tracking to optimise cost and time efficiency of deliveries.
• Resolve daily logistics issues related to delays, routing and delivery schedules.
• Oversee inbound transportation of raw materials, packaging and imported items.
• Work with suppliers and freight forwarders for pickups, shipments and customs clearance.
• Track shipments and communicate expected arrival times to warehouse and production teams.
• Plan and schedule dispatch of finished goods to customers and distributors.
• Optimise transport routes and load planning to reduce cost and delivery time.
• Maintain relationships with local and international transport providers, freight forwarders and 3PL partners.
• Conduct performance reviews based on KPIs such as on‑time delivery, service quality, claims and cost.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, hygiene and temperature control during transportation.
• Develop and monitor logistics KPIs and prepare monthly performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Full‑time, on‑site availability in Senegal.
• Proven experience overseeing transportation, distribution and delivery operations.
• Strong focus on compliance with safety, regulatory and food‑safety requirements.
• Ability to control logistics costs while maintaining service quality.
