Head of Supply Chain Department

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimise all supply‑chain activities for our diesel generator and energy‑solutions business. The role is responsible for global sourcing, procurement, inventory, warehousing and logistics to guarantee uninterrupted equipment availability for sales and critical spare‑part support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a supply‑chain strategy aligned with sales targets and maintenance needs, managing end‑to‑end sourcing and negotiation of generators, spare parts and consumables.
• Oversee inventory for large generator units and high‑volume spare parts, implementing Min/Max and Just‑in‑Time controls, conducting regular audits and driving warehouse automation (barcoding, QR coding).
• Manage import/export, customs clearance and freight forwarding, optimise transport schedules and negotiate logistics contracts to reduce landed costs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Sales and Production to forecast demand, fast‑track urgent procurement and minimise equipment downtime.
• Control the supply‑chain budget, monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, on‑time delivery and service‑parts availability, and prepare monthly performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven senior‑level experience leading supply‑chain functions in an industrial or energy‑equipment environment.
