Head of Regional Planner – D&T

About the role

The D&T Head of Regional Planner ensures that the technology and digital (D&T) needs of corporate functions such as finance, procurement, HR, legal and compliance are met efficiently. The role combines demand, capacity and resource planning with performance management and reporting to optimise the use of D&T assets across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional function heads to capture D&T requirements and translate them into demand forecasts.
• Develop and maintain a demand plan, prioritising requests according to established principles.
• Assess current D&T capacity, forecast future needs and implement plans to align capacity with demand.
• Allocate hardware, software and personnel resources, monitoring utilisation and adjusting allocations as needed.
• Coordinate with D&T delivery teams to ensure timely provision of resources.
• Define and track KPIs to measure service effectiveness and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular performance, utilisation and capacity reports for senior management.
• Identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain contingency plans.
• Share best practices within the global planning community and capture the value delivered by D&T services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in D&T planning, demand or capacity planning within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate functions and their technology requirements.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, performance metrics and stakeholder communication.
