Floor Manager – Premium Dining at International Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Floor Manager to lead the front‑of‑house team at a Lebanese restaurant located inside a prestigious international hotel in Cape Town. The role ensures that every guest receives a seamless, high‑quality dining experience in a premium environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all floor operations, guaranteeing smooth and efficient daily service.
• Maintain consistent delivery of high‑standard customer service in line with company policies.
• Supervise front‑of‑house staff, allocate duties, and manage shift schedules.
• Control guest flow, seating arrangements, and service timing to optimise turnover.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless service execution.
• Monitor staff performance, enforce operational procedures, and uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Support management in implementing operational improvements and service enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Floor Manager or similar supervisory role in 4‑ or 5‑star hotels.
• Strong background in Lebanese cuisine or Lebanese restaurant concepts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑standard environment.
• High level of professionalism, discipline, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Fluency in Arabic and English.
