Early‑Career Area Manager – Operations (GA, KY, TN)

About the role

Amazon is looking for motivated early‑career professionals to lead a team of hourly associates in a fast‑paced fulfillment environment. As an Area Manager you will own the performance of a warehouse area, ensuring safety, quality and productivity while developing your team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate 50‑100 Amazon Associates to meet operational goals.
• Oversee daily workflow, including package sorting, pallet jack handling and PIT equipment operation.
• Maintain safety standards, monitor attendance and drive performance metrics.
• Manage shift schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Coordinate inbound truck deliveries and ensure efficient material flow.

Required profile

• Work authorization in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 49 lb for up to 12‑hour shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Willingness to work a fixed 4‑day work week with 3 days off.
