Business Analyst – Business Applications & Digital Solutions

About the role

BUTEC is looking for a motivated Business Analyst to join its IT Business Solutions team. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing the company’s business applications, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, while also contributing to projects involving Dynamics 365 CRM, Field Service, the Power Platform and custom‑built solutions. You will act as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to translate requirements into effective, delivered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand challenges and map process needs.
• Analyse, document and improve business processes, functional requirements and specifications.
• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents, process flows, user stories and related artefacts.
• Provide functional support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and other business applications.
• Investigate and resolve functional, transactional and process‑related issues.
• Collaborate with developers, vendors and implementation partners to design, validate and deliver solutions.
• Support D365 implementations, upgrades, roll‑outs, enhancements and post‑go‑live activities.
• Develop test scenarios, conduct functional testing and coordinate UAT.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and support data migration and quality initiatives.
• Create user guides, training materials and deliver end‑user training sessions.
• Promote best practices, standard system capabilities and user adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, ERP functional consulting or ERP support.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, Project Accounting or HR processes is an advantage.
