Bilingual Content Editor – TV & Streaming Metadata

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Arabic‑English Content Editor to create, translate, and quality‑check metadata, titles, and editorial copy for our TV channels and streaming platforms. You will ensure that every show, movie, and series is presented accurately and naturally in both languages, helping audiences discover content regardless of their language preference.

Key responsibilities

• Write, update, and maintain program schedules, metadata, synopses, genres, ratings, artwork, and promotional copy in Arabic and English.
• Proofread Arabic copy, ensuring correct right‑to‑left display, grammar, and tone.
• Adapt English metadata for Arabic‑speaking territories and vice versa, respecting cultural context.
• Maintain up‑to‑date program schedules and content details across linear TV and SVOD platforms.
• Coordinate with Programming, Marketing, Localization, and Digital teams to guarantee timely and accurate content delivery.
• Learn and operate scheduling/publishing systems such as EPG tools and CMS.
• Handle last‑minute schedule changes, live event updates, and urgent content corrections.
• Support new title launches, seasonal campaigns, and special programming with fresh copy.
• Track and report on copy quality and coverage across languages.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in translation, copywriting, editing, journalism, localization, or content writing.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong written skills in both languages.
• Excellent editing and proofreading abilities, attentive to grammar, tone, and cultural nuance.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
