Accountant – Financial Operations & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Accounting Department. The role involves managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, such as tax filings (GST, VAT, TDS, etc.).
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations to auditors.
• Monitor and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CA preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and integrity skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools.
