Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy Manager

About the role

EY-Parthenon is seeking a Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy Manager to join its MENA team in Beirut. The role involves working on high‑profile transactions, advising clients on capital options, distressed asset deals, and business restructuring.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in evaluating capital options, maximizing transaction value, and achieving strategic objectives through acquisitions, sales of distressed assets, or restructuring.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reviews of client operations and provide advisory services on corporate risk management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams across strategy and transaction sub‑service lines.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, influencing key decision‑makers.
• Contribute to practice development initiatives that promote a high‑performing work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate restructuring, preferably with financial restructuring exposure.
• Strong business and commercial acumen with excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Excellent problem‑solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel regionally (50‑70% of the time) and fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
