Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Pricing Intelligence

About the role

Aspire Software seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the evolution of its pricing intelligence platform for the hospitality sector. You will own the full lifecycle of ML solutions, from problem definition through production deployment and monitoring, directly influencing hotel revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Advance the pricing engine using probabilistic forecasting, elasticity estimation, contextual bandits, reinforcement learning and other optimization methods.
• Improve demand and occupancy forecasts, providing uncertainty estimates to support safer pricing decisions.
• Build safe‑experimentation tools such as historical replay, simulation, backtesting, shadow deployment and controlled roll‑outs.
• Transform experimental models into reliable, tested, observable Python services deployed on AWS.
• Debug unexpected pricing behavior, data integration issues and production incidents, turning root‑cause analysis into lasting improvements.
• Enhance data pipelines for reservations, competitor rates, PMS and event data, contributing to AI‑powered explanations and revenue‑manager tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering machine‑learning systems from definition to production monitoring.
• Strong Python and SQL expertise, with a focus on modular, typed, tested code.
• Solid foundation in statistics, experimentation, forecasting and model evaluation.
• Ability to work with noisy, incomplete, time‑dependent real‑world data.
• Methodical problem‑solving skills for ambiguous technical issues.
