Senior Backend Developer - Node.js & Camunda

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance services using Node.js and Camunda. You will work on complex micro‑service architectures, integrate with messaging platforms, and ensure reliable production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and micro‑services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and support REST and GraphQL APIs and system integrations.
• Create, monitor, and troubleshoot Camunda workflows, handling incidents and stuck processes.
• Integrate and debug messaging solutions using RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus.
• Investigate production issues across APIs, micro‑services, queues, databases, and external integrations.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and deliver permanent technical fixes.
• Manage source control with Git/GitLab, including branching, merging, rebasing, and hot‑fix releases.
• Collaborate on code reviews, deployments, production support, and critical incident resolution.
• Work closely with DevOps, infrastructure, QA, and integration teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience developing Node.js/TypeScript backend services.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Camunda workflow engine.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows and release management.
• Ability to read and support existing Java/Spring Boot services.
• Experience with Oracle relational databases.
