Senior Audit & Assurance – External Audit

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Audit & Assurance professional to join Deloitte’s External Audit team in Lebanon. The role involves leading audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, and building trusted relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by understanding their expectations and service level requirements.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying knowledge of regulations, risk management, and business processes.
• Analyze key statistics and industry data before engagements to tailor audit approach.
• Adapt audit templates and referral instructions to clearly define scope and deliverables.
• Oversee audit teams, review workpapers, and ensure compliance with professional standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external audit, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk‑based auditing.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to clients and senior management.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate, timely results.

Required skills

• Knowledge of audit standards and procedures.
• Familiarity with financial reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Analytical skills for interpreting industry data and statistics.
