Quality Control Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to perform testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished products for our animal health product line. The role supports product release, ensures compliance with GLP and GMP, and maintains laboratory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform QC testing on incoming raw materials to support release into inventory.
• Analyse intermediate bulks, finished products and stability of solid and liquid dosage forms.
• Document testing activities and results accurately following good documentation practices.
• Identify and support resolution of technical problems.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Conduct regular calibration and verification of laboratory equipment such as analytical balances.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science (Chemistry, Biology) or related field.
• 1‑2 years experience in a general laboratory environment performing chemical or biochemical analyses.
• Understanding and ability to apply GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Ability to implement analytical chromatography techniques and troubleshoot, including HPLC.
