MEAL Manager

About the role

World Vision Lebanon is seeking a MEAL Manager to provide strategic leadership for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) across its programmes and projects. The role will design, implement and strengthen standardized MEAL systems, ensuring high‑quality programming, evidence‑based decision‑making and accountability to vulnerable children and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for all programme assessments, baselines, evaluations and results measurement activities.
• Lead the revision, standardisation and quality assurance of WVL’s M&E guidance, frameworks, tools and systems in line with World Vision International and donor standards.
• Ensure effective oversight of programme monitoring, including data quality, frequency and compliance with internal and external donor requirements.
• Oversee and maintain a national participant/beneficiary database, guaranteeing data integrity and appropriate use.
• Analyse, synthesize and report monitoring and evaluation data to inform management decisions, programme adaptation and strategic reporting.
• Provide technical leadership for research, learning and evidence‑generation initiatives, ensuring rigorous designs and methods.
• Institutionalise research, evidence and learning processes within the MEAL system to capture and share lessons learned.
• Systematically review internal and external evidence to inform programme design and adaptation.
• Generate high‑quality evidence on priority change domains, support trend analysis and inform strategic positioning.
