About the role
Save the Children International is seeking a Lead, Employee Relations (Investigations) to head its global grievance investigation function. You will ensure investigations are conducted fairly, consistently and to a high professional standard, supporting a safe and respectful workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop a team of specialist investigators, setting standards for planning, methodology, evidence assessment and reporting.
- Provide senior oversight of complex, high‑risk cases and ensure timely, compliant resolution.
- Maintain quality assurance, independent judgement and robust challenge mechanisms across investigations.
- Identify systemic risks and drive organisational learning to improve employee experience and culture.
- Balance caseloads, monitor timelines and proactively address emerging barriers.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in employee relations, grievance handling and investigations.
- Proven leadership of investigative teams and ability to mentor senior staff.
- Strong analytical mindset with capacity to translate case insights into organisational improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.
