Junior Accountant – Jounieh/Harissa

About the role

We are looking for a motivated junior accountant to join our back‑office team supporting operations in the United States, Germany, China and the MENA region. The role is based in Jounieh/Harissa, Lebanon and works on American Eastern Time. You will handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks and support senior accountants in closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to record all business transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment preparation and vendor reconciliation.
• Assist with accounts receivable, generating customer invoices, tracking payments and following up on overdue accounts.
• Prepare bank, credit‑card and balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and closing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient English communication (verbal, reading, writing).
