Front Desk Agent

About the role

Staybridge Suites, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is looking for a Front Desk Agent. The role welcomes guests, handles check-ins and check-outs, manages reservations and provides friendly, professional service in line with the brand's standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, handling check-ins, check-outs, room assignments and payments
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and concerns
• Manage reservations, room availability and guest information accurately
• Answer telephone calls, emails and other guest communications
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments
• Promote IHG One Rewards membership and inform guests about facilities, services and local attractions
• Handle cash transactions, billing and daily financial procedures
• Maintain guest confidentiality and follow security and safety procedures
• Support guest satisfaction initiatives and follow Staybridge Suites brand standards and IHG policies

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in Front Office, Guest Relations or Customer Service is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic; French is an advantage
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Good computer literacy
• Knowledge of Opera PMS or other hotel property management systems is an advantage
