Finance Manager – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead accurate and timely financial reporting, control, budgeting and forecasting for Burjline Builders. Reporting to the CFO, you will provide senior management with insightful analysis to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, profitability analyses, tax returns and regulatory reports.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records, reconciliations and financial reporting, escalating significant issues.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and produce periodic forecasts, financial projections and scenario analyses.
• Analyze actual performance versus budget, identify variances, trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations for the CFO and senior management.
• Assess financial impact of business initiatives, investments and strategic decisions.
• Monitor profitability, capital, liquidity and balance‑sheet considerations in coordination with relevant functions.
• Support compliance with accounting, control and governance requirements and liaise with auditors, regulators and internal partners.
• Supervise and develop finance team members and improve financial processes and reporting.
• Participate in strategic and special projects assigned by the CFO.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; professional certification or postgraduate degree is a plus.
• 8–12 years of finance experience, preferably in banking or financial services, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis.
• Deep understanding of banking profitability, balance‑sheet dynamics and key financial drivers.
• Analytical, strategic and leadership capabilities to translate data into actionable insights.
