Asset Management Manager

About the role

The Asset Management Manager will lead the Asset Management Unit at Burjline Builders, shaping strategy, driving performance and ensuring the delivery of investment solutions to a diverse client base. Reporting to the T&CM Executive Director, the role combines client relationship management, product development and market analysis in a fast‑paced banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the unit’s strategy, monitor performance against annual targets and coordinate with senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, assess investment needs and risk appetite, and recommend suitable portfolio strategies.
• Promote asset‑management products, execute client orders and support the bank’s proprietary trading activities.
• Design bespoke investment products, including portfolio rebalancing and generate regular investment ideas.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with local and international financial institutions.
• Monitor financial markets, conduct research and provide investment insights for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory limits, internal controls and share market information across business units.

Required profile

• Strong planning, organization, communication, time‑management and leadership abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of Treasury & Capital Markets, banking products, policies and procedures.
• Understanding of local and international economies, investment and financing techniques.
• Proven financial and economic analysis, research and risk‑assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Relevant certification such as CMA Licensing or equivalent; CFA is a plus.
