Senior Implementation Officer

About the role

Areeba is looking for a Senior Implementation Officer to join its Solution Integration Unit. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting mission‑critical payment switch integrations across acquiring and issuing ecosystems, ensuring seamless connectivity, operational stability, and high service availability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into detailed design and development stories.
• Lead end‑to‑end integration activities between Areeba X (Verto) Switch and external systems such as banks, processors, and card schemes.
• Perform functional testing, QA validation, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Configure, fine‑tune, and administer IST Switch (FIS 7.6.1) in a system‑administration capacity.
• Provide production support, system monitoring, and proactive troubleshooting across multiple interfaces.
• Investigate transaction flows, logs, and incidents across acquiring and issuing channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery and production stability.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in payment systems, switching, or system integration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL / PL‑SQL and Unix/Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of client‑server architecture, server‑to‑server communication, TCP/IP, and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with payment simulators such as Postman, VTS, and MAS/MDFS.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
