Senior F&B Business Consultant

About the role

Up for Grabs, a food‑surplus marketplace launching in Beirut, is seeking a senior consultant to guide its go‑to‑market strategy for the Lebanese F&B and HORECA sector. The engagement lasts 4‑6 weeks and focuses on shaping sales tactics, identifying high‑potential locations and building the initial partner pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the Lebanese F&B and HORECA landscape, including business models, cost structures, procurement cycles and surplus‑food dynamics.
• Review and refine the current go‑to‑market strategy, value proposition and partner acquisition approach.
• Map geographic clusters and define early‑adopter segments, delivering a prioritized prospect list for the sales team.
• Develop a field‑ready sales approach, scripts, objection handling and partner‑facing pitch assets (one‑pager, deck, leave‑behind).
• Iterate the sales methodology using real‑time feedback from the Senior Sales Representative.
• Produce a phased market‑expansion roadmap with success metrics and resource requirements, and hand over all documentation at project end.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience in Lebanon’s F&B and HORECA sector.
• Deep understanding of stakeholder behaviour, decision‑making and operational realities across restaurants, cafés, bakeries, hotels, catering and buffet establishments.
• Proven background in go‑to‑market strategy, sales enablement or business development within food‑service or marketplace businesses.
• Ability to create practical, field‑ready deliverables for junior sales staff.
