Senior Accountant – Brazzaville, Congo

About the role

Codimex Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Brazzaville, Congo. This full‑time, on‑site position will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, accounts payable and receivable.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit findings are addressed.
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Monitor financial data, analyze trends, and provide insights to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within a corporate or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing practices.
• Familiarity with the local economic and regulatory environment in Central Africa is advantageous.
• Fluency in French is highly preferred; English proficiency is an advantage.
