Public Health Promotion Assistant – South Lebanon

About the role

Oxfam is seeking a Public Health Promotion Assistant to support hygiene and menstrual health initiatives in South Lebanon. Working under the supervision of the Public Health Promotion Officer, you will help deliver community‑based health activities and ensure effective distribution of essential non‑food items.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering hygiene promotion sessions and awareness workshops.
• Oversee the distribution of hygiene kits, menstrual hygiene management (MHM) kits, baby kits and other non‑food items.
• Collect, record and maintain accurate beneficiary data and related documentation.
• Facilitate referrals and engage community members to promote health‑seeking behaviours.
• Travel regularly to project sites across Beirut, Mount Lebanon, North Lebanon and the Bekaa as required.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in public health promotion or humanitarian programming in Lebanon.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Commitment to gender equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to travel frequently to project locations.
