Mobile Application Developer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a remote Mobile Application Developer Intern to join Kalam, an Arabic‑learning platform offering AI‑driven conversations, courses, quizzes and more. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to enhance the app across multiple Arabic dialects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and expanding Arabic course content for various dialects.
• Research, prototype and implement new features such as leaderboards and challenges.
• Improve UI/UX and optimize the app by fixing bugs and enhancing usability.
• Support analytics by interpreting data, drawing insights and ensuring proper tracking.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related degree program.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to take initiative beyond assigned tasks.
• Strong interest in language‑learning technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in mobile application development.
• Experience with iOS development.
• Hands‑on coding in React Native.
• Familiarity with Firebase and Firebase Functions.
• Knowledge of OpenAI APIs.
