Logistics Manager – French Speaker (Mobile Staff)

About the role

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is seeking a French‑speaking Logistics Manager to join its Mobile Staff pool. The position involves planning, coordinating and monitoring all logistics activities for projects in Haiti, the Democratic Republic of Congo or Chad, ensuring that medical operations run smoothly in challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project or Logistics Coordinator in defining and following up logistics activities.
• Oversee construction, transport of goods and staff, communications, water and sanitation, vehicle and engine maintenance.
• Manage equipment installation, infrastructure set‑up, and functional office and lodging facilities for international staff.
• Implement and monitor water, health and sanitation (WHS) activities.
• Maintain an appropriate supply chain, including ordering, insurance, and vehicle contracts.
• Coordinate administrative logistics tasks linked to orders, insurances, and contracts.

Required profile

• Fluency in French; English proficiency is required.
• Willingness to commit to a 6‑12 month assignment in remote, resource‑limited settings.
• Flexibility, resilience and ability to work in tough environments.
